Wisdom's Peak (Sylph Linkshell)
I want to offer an open invite to our forums at http://xsorbit27.com/users5/houseofvoncroax/index.php (I know... a bit long. We will be getting a .com soon, just bare with us)
Now just to elaborate on what we are about... not just a regular LS... so pay attention.
Intro:
Wisdom's Peak goals are to touch bases with all aspects of the game of FFXI including but not limited to conquesting, crafting, NM hunting, farming, job leveling, gaming fame and completing missions. Doing so we also plan on but not requiring roleplaying in Vana'diel while out on adventures... but it does make the experience a bit more interesting. Building friendships and trust with one another is something we will hold close to the center structure of the Wisdom's Peak system.
Membership: Now that that is preposed lets talk about how will will be excepting new members... ok... as of right now we will only except applications/possible recruits on the Week 1 of the schedule (Cavaliers Day) and we will quest and such... they will have to particapate and will be either voted in by the shell or voted out by the shell which this will be held on the forum 3 days before the last day (Saturday) of week two. Results will be posted on that day and their pearl will be given out. We will determine if there status in where they stand on being a good member by how they participate in events within that two week period. As of now... until we put this into effect and I restructure the forum to fit what we are looking for... we are open as two who the sackholders think could contribute to the pearl. WP kickoff date is set for a week from tomorrow... 11/28/2005.
Linkshell Rules:
1) Be Respectful to others - No down talking anyone on the shell at anythime. This includes people in and out of our shell and other linkshells individually. You can joke... but I think we all know the differences that I am talking about.
2) Language - PG-13. Watch the language. Damn and hell can be used. If its not words that are used in the game its not wanted to be said on the shell. I know most of the people are adults, and some of the under 18 group may not mind but I don't want to see any of our best members aggroed by parents and not able to play the game anymore because of it.
3) Time on Pearl - Number of Pearls - We are aware that some shells require their members to carry only their shell at all times. However this is not the case with WP. You can be in as many shells/communities as you like, and still be very welcome here. Hopefully you will enjoy WP enough you will not want to be anywhere else.
4) Help - While we always offer help, it is just that, help. Do not expect to be guided through something, sit back and watch the fireworks. Usually when help is given, we expect to work with you to accomplish whatever you need, not to do it for you. If you need anything, schedule it, research it, and people are sure to be there by your side!
5) Powerleveling - Really there is no way to crack down on this. To put it mildly, in parties we set up there will be no powerleveling welcomed. Also do not ask for a powerlevel over the shell.
6) Roleplaying - While not a roleplaying LS, roleplay is encouraged during events. If you don't want to this is ok. Just go through the event as you would and if you want to join in the conversation feel free to do so. Being that we do encourage RP, please refrain from talking down to those that do... this is highly prohibited. During events... RP will be in /say... Out of Character conversation will be handled on the LS.
7) No breaking the rules of SE's ToS agreement.
8 ) Leaving - If you find thet WP doesn't suit your needs any longer, and want to quit, or be less active, please inform the officials privitely. This will help the shell have a better estimate of it's members.

This will be written in a two week period because some stuff we will do bi-weekly. I tried to aim more for the weekend which was by request so we will go from there.
Discriptions:
Masters: Party set ups, be it one time parties, statics or skill up parties. These will be set up on open days on the

Mercenaries: NM, HNM, ENM and BCNM hunters. We organize these days to hunt items for member of the shell or days that we join together to hunt a rare NM. Schedule BCNM's and such.
H & G's: Hunters and Gatherers, in other terms, farmers. We will spend this day getting stacks of items to sell, and
give to our merchants to make items for larger profit or to skill up on.
Merchants: Skill up days and days we work on trying to create HQ items. Usually working with Hunters and Gatherers to get the items needed. Also used to sale items at discounted rates to WP members.
Cavaliers: These are the backbone members of WP and plan missions and quests to do together as a group. Also on their days we will plan to be posted in various cities to help people with missions and quests in hope to get new recruits
Conquestors: On their day which falls the last day of the week to gain conquest. We break up into our home nations and have a friendly competion, be it organizing a Expeditionary Force mission, ballista, or join together to plan a Garrison.

- Do you want to end the constant search for people to help you with an event, mission or quest?
- Do you want to gather together a group of characters from your nation to do fun things like Expeditionary Force Missions, or just a simple Garrison with people you can trust?
- Have fun Roleplaying with your Linkshell members while going fishing or getting a drink at the local tavern?
If you answered yes to any one of these questions then Wisdom's Peak is for you. We originated from a small group of friends with some really creative idea's and are looking to add to the Wisdom's Peak family. The recruitment policy, which will begin 11/28/2005, is listed below:
Want to be a member of Wisdom's Peak? **NOTE** We give out World Passes on requests.
1. Register on the forum or contact a C.O.R.E member in game to let them know you are interested in joining. We except 3 recruits a week. If you chose to get started by the forums then post in the Newcomer Hall, a short but sweet paragraph on why you would like to join Wisdom's Peak. (Register with your in game name I.E. Ariciont)
2. With your recruit status, you will receive a pearl and limited access to the forums. The recruitment status will be
on you for 2 weeks, giving us a good idea of how you interact and fit in with our group.
3. Three days before your 2 week trial period is up, a poll will be posted on the forum for members to vote on you to see if you belong in Wisdom's Peak.
4. Once in, you will receive member status on the boards and be listed as a new member on the News section of the forums.
